Rachel Whirledge
Hi, I'm Rachel,
I came to teaching swimming after taking time out with Tom and Millie when they were young tots. I enjoyed swimming with my kids and felt that this was an enjoyable and rewarding career option for me. So, in 2009 I retrained and am now proud to be the face of my own swim school.
I have an ASA Level 2 and ASA Adult and Child qualification as well as the RLSS National Rescue Award For Swimming Teachers and Coaches and I am also a member of the ISO (Institute of Swimming).
I feel extremely proud of the achievements of all my little swimmers and love starting them on a life long swimming journey.

Sara Joiner-Jarrett
Hi, I'm Sara,
After having my children, I wanted something to work alongside family life. Having always swum as a child in galas, I encouraged my own children to swim as it is an important life skill to have to be safe in the water.
I trained as an ASA Level 2 Swim teacher in 2009 and later as an ASA Adult and Child instructor. I hold the RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches and am a member of the ISO (Institute of Swimming).
I am also the lead swimming instructor and co-ordinator at the local Hatfield Heath Primary School since 2012.
For me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the children come to us and come out as competent swimmers. Some are nervous and scared of the water, so when they finally realise that swimming is fun and the water isn’t something to be scared of, it is just wonderful to see and I feel our work is done.

Our Facilities....
Our lessons are taught in a privately owned pool located on the Herts/Essex border between Leaden Roding and Margaret Roding on the A1060.
The lovely 12 x 4.5m pool is clean, well-maintained and kept at a warm 30-31°C - perfect for little ones to feel comfortable during their lessons. The depth of the pool is 1.1m in the shallow end and 2.1m at the deep end. Access to the pool is via wide steps into the shallow end, great for a safe entry into the water.
We have clean changing rooms, with shower and toilet facilities.
There is free parking on site.
